Children's Ministry at The Rock Bible Church aims to come alongside the families of our church as they strive to raise their children in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. We firmly believe that it is the Word of God alone that can give children "the wisdom that leads to salvation" (2 Timothy 3:15), and our children's program is committed to faithfully teaching and shepherding young souls in the Scriptures.
In Mark’s gospel account of the life and ministry of Jesus, we catch a glimpse of the value God places on children:
People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

Children, ages JK though Grade 5, are invited to sit with their family for the first part of our corporate worship services. Part way through the worship service children, ages JK through Grade 5 are dismissed for a time of Children’s Worship that includes singing, a prayer time and an introduction to the Bible story. Following this time together (approximately 20 minutes), the children go to their respective classrooms for age-appropriate bible teaching and activities. There are two classes for children JK through Grade 2 and Grades 3 through 5.
Nursery
Nursery care is provided for parents with infants and toddlers during our Sunday morning corporate worship services.
